Fingerprinting

The Kersey Police Department provides residents fingerprinting services. Often, fingerprinting is requested by prospective employers as part of an employment background check. For instance, teachers and law enforcement personnel must submit fingerprints as part of the hiring process, to maintain professional certifications, or to secure access in and around areas that contain sensitive or confidential material. Please bring the fingerprint card and photo identification: driver's license, Colorado ID, passport, etc. Plan not only for the time to complete the fingerprinting process, but also for sufficient time to complete the fingerprint card while at the Police Department. If you do not have a fingerprint card, an additional fee will be assessed.

This service is free for town residents with a fingerprint card, and there is a $10 fee for out of town residents with a fingerprint card. There is an additional fee of $10 if the Police Department has to provide the Fingerprint Card.
